Series Rules

(non-exhaustive)

1. Teams will consist of two anglers and a mentor/captain.
2. Eligible anglers must 8-18 years old at any time during the series.
3. Mentor/captain must be 21 years of age and in control of the main engine at all times.
4. Youth anglers must follow safety protocols with life jackets for all ages. All anglers must have life jackets on when main motor is running. 
5. Youth anglers are encouraged to run trolling motor and be mentored by captain in back of boat.
6. Captains are allowed to fish but must keep their catch separate in the back live well or ice chest.
7. Youth anglers must have signed parent/guardian permission/waiver/liability paperwork for all events. 
8. Every owner of boat in series must have verified insurance.
9. All winners will may be subjected to a polygraph test.
10. All anglers shall reflect the FCA Outdoors core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence in competition throughout the entire series.
11. All anglers must view the series meeting the night before the day of competition. Live or zoom to verify all series rules. 
12. Anglers may also fish from land, wading or kayak but must have mentor present with team members. 
13. Anglers must verify no later than the day before a series if not attending a certain date if signed up.
